Headlining Air Beats in November, Sheppard boasts over three million listeners per month on Spotify, over 740 million streams across all platforms and a handful of #1’s and Top Ten hits in countries around the world, Brisbane’s Sheppard have already achieved more than most bands could dream of in their lifetime.

As the band — now a core three-piece of founding members and siblings George, Amy and Emma Sheppard — prepare to release their third album later in the year, they’re sounding more assured and effortless than ever, building anticipation as they drip-feed their irresistible, big-hearted pop in the form of one track per month. “I think more than ever, we are really confident in our sound,” says Amy.

Overcoming the immense pressure that follows a global smash, Sheppard went on to have their music picked up for syncing by various TV stations, shows and films including ESPN, Good Morning America, and most recently, the trailer for the Disney/Pixar film Onwards. Second album Watching the Sky debuted at no. 1 on the ARIA charts in 2018, collected another ARIA nomination and spawned the hit ‘Coming Home’ , while Sheppard’s overseas fan base remains as passionate as ever; 2019’s single ‘Die Young’ was #2 on the Netherlands airplay charts for weeks.

Sheppard are not a band that’s just handed a song — they write all their own music and pride themselves on being involved in every step of the creative process. Their dream ascent is the result of nothing other than talent, dedication, and damn hard work.

Supporting Sheppard is Hayley Marsten, Chris Bax Trio, Jason O’Hara, Jack & Jacinta, Smiley n Wayno Duo, Thomo & Wal Duo, Nathan Bedford and Chris Schofield.

Gladstone Regional Council is well-equipped to ensure the concert is not only fun, but safe too!
