Sounds from the Deep
Water – sometimes peaceful, sometimes turbulent, always captivating.
You will experience all of this as Queensland Symphony Orchestra transports you into the world of water – a small trickle that transforms into a flowing river, a royal barge gliding down the Thames, the frozen expanses of Antarctica, and of course, the one and only Beautiful Blue Danube. Join us for a memorable evening as our musicians conjure up all these images and more.
For the seventh consecutive year Queensland Symphony Orchestra will perform Symphony Under the Stars presented by Gladstone Regional Council and Australia Pacific LNG ConocoPhillips with a free music concert, Sounds from the Deep at the GPC Marina stage on August 2.
