Ready to give your kids an unforgettable school holiday experience? Festival of Summer 2025 is just around the corner — kicking off on Monday, 13 January to Friday, 17 January!
Visiting GECC
Learn from the talented Wezzy Cruze and experince a one-day workshop explaining the world and roles involved in filmmaking, breaking it down into simple content creator forms to use on YouTube, TikTok, and potentially lead into creating a career.
Wezzy will lead an engaging session exploring key theories, video demonstrations, script-based acting, and interactive games. Participants will also learn to use filmmaking equipment, edit photos and videos, and produce their own content. Strictly 13 - 17 years only.
Please bring: Smart phone/tablet or digital camera, snacks and lunch.

General Admission: $40
An indemnity form must be filled out for each participant attending this activity. Please download the form here and return the completed document via email to communityevents@gladstone.qld.gov.au prior to the activity date. If the indemnity form is not returned in advance the activity provider holds the right to deny participation on the day.
