Queensland Museum Presents

World Science Festival

Community Day

World Science Festival Queensland is back in 2022 with another spectacular science extravaganza!

9:30am-3pm, Saturday 18 June

This free action packed program for the whole family will include a range of hands-on activities, fascinating displays and hear from Australia’s favourite science communicator Dr Karl Kruszelnicki.

Come celebrate the wonder and joy of science with us at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre.

This event is proudly presented by Queensland Museum Network and supported by Community Partner Shell’s QGC business.

Schools Day

Students will explore STEM through self-led exploration, providing access to hands-on science activities, real life scientists and fascinating displays.

Each World Science Festival visit includes a 45-minute curriculum-linked program, tailored to the age group of your students. Each program includes an explosive show, a careers Q&A and an exciting hands-on activity followed by stalls, fascinating displays and pop-up demonstrations for more self-directed learning opportunities.
